Patricia A. Hinz, age 86, of North Branch, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.

Pat was born on December 4, 1937 in Chetek, Wisconsin to parents, Paul and Beth (McDonald) Asher. She completed her education at Hastings High School graduating with the class of 1955. She married Gerald Hinz on March 25, 1977 in Watertown, South Dakota.  Pat worked as a Dietary Manager at Chisago Lakes Hospital for many years.  She loved spending time gardening, camping, sewing, canning, baking, and time with her family.  She was a faithful member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in North Branch for many years.  

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Beth; brothers, Don and Jerry; sisters, Theresa, Jeanette and Bernadette.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gerald; her sister, Lois; her children, Jim (Jeanne), Kate (Gary), Gerrianne (Ken) and Scotty; grandchildren, Maria (Dan), Ian (Caitlin), Chloe (Tanner), Courtney (Tony), Alex, Caleb and Henry; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Blair, Kendall, Ainsley, Hattie and Emery.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in North Branch with Fr. Matt Shireman officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at church on Friday. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in North Branch.
