In loving memory of Aaron Guy Lamson, age 34 of Moloa's Kauai, passed March 13, 2009 suddenly.
Aaron was born May 30, 1974 in Chisago City, Minnesota. He was a 1993 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School. For the past five years Aaron lived on the island of Kauai (Hawaii) with his wife Sofia and worked for Kayak Adventures as a tour guide on the Wailua River. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding the waves; many would say he was without doubt a surfer dude. Aaron has an enormous amount of excitement in his life, as he liked to live a bit on the edge. Anyone who knew him could attest to the fact that his heart was big and he always had a smiled on his face that could light up a room. The positive energy he gave off was so strong that it made family, friends, and new comers feel welcomed by him at all times. In definition Aaron was a free spirit who loved to travel and explore the world. On one of his journeys in 2002 he was traveling Central American and stopped in Panama. It was there that he met the love of his life Sofia. She stole his heart away and the following year they were married August 30. The two of them loved to travel together but Kauai was home when Aaron passed. Aaron has been many places throughout his life but some of his favorite destinations were near the ocean where he loved to surf, a passion for the last 16 years.
We all loved Aaron so much and will truly miss him.
Aaron is survived by his loving wife Sofia Lamson, of Moloa's HI; parents Mary and David Bailey, of Lindstrom MN; parent Kevin Lamson, of Champlin MN; brother Michael Lifgren; sisters Melisa Thompson-Garza, Ashley Lifgren, Marna Lamson and Veronica Lamson; grandparents Lawrence and Yvonne Mckenzie of Chisago City, MN; grandparents Ernest and Charlene Lamson of St. Paul, MN and many other family members.
