The Chisago Lakes School District Family Center has received a Small Projects Grant from the East Central Arts Council.
The $500 grant has allowed artist and mom, Heather Triplett, to design and begin production of a ceramic mosaic that will hang outside the Family Center.
This mosaic is intended for the enjoyment of all, and hopefully will be a good visual to help people find their way to the Family Center for years to come.
The Family Center needs help to complete this mosaic project by July of 2010. Contributions of broken ceramic items, colored glass, or broken mirrors are needed.
While the East Central Arts Council Grant dollars have helped to purchase materials, additional monetary contributions are needed to purchase all items necessary for the mosaic project.
Your contributions will be greatly appreciated! Mosaic contribution levels: Yellow level - $5, Red level - $10, Blue level - $25, Gold level - Over $25.
