4/18/2013 11:55:00 AM Highway 95 resurfacing project scheduled for April 15 is postponed
The Hwy 95 resurfacing project, between Hwy 8 and the Sunrise River in Chisago County, has been postponed until further notice.
In addition to resurfacing the roadway the project will include the replacement of culverts, guardrail, curb and gutter. Rumble strips will also be installed. Once scheduled, Hwy 95 will be closed and detoured to thorough traffic. Downtown Taylors Falls will remain open to two lanes of traffic, but parking will not be available on Hwy 95. Area residences and businesses will remain accessible throughout the project.
The Hwy 95 resurfacing project will improve drainage and provide a smoother and safer road. The project is scheduled for completion in early August.
