New Lindstrom Postmaster "comes home"

Lindstrom Post Office officially installed its new postmaster Cheryl Kempf Friday, June 4 as part of customer appreciation day. Kempf was born in Chisago City and grew up on the family farm in the Forest Lake area. "For me this is coming home," she stated. "It is a wonderful thing to be able to work in my hometown area and serve the community my family has been in and served for 160 years."
Kempf was working in the St. Paul Post Office for 14 years. Being named Postmaster is one of the proudest moments in her life, she added. "What I like about the post office is that there are so many things you can do in any field that interests you." She looks forward to working with the fine team at Lindstrom.
